How Can Colorado Republicans Win Elections? Pt. 2

This column is intended to answer the biggest political questions of the day.  All truth. No holds barred! So…what do YOU want to know? (Please submit your question to elephantsear.column@gmail.com)

Today’s Question:  How Can Colorado Republicans Win Elections?  (Part II) (Glad you asked!)

First, WE HAVE TO TURN OUR FOCUS TO WINNING!  (What an amazing concept!)

• Abraham Lincoln said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

  • To momentarily repeat The Elephant’s Ear #1: If we really want to get rid of disastrous D policies, and take back control over our lives, we must accept our internal differences, ignore the D’s, turn ALL of our attention to the VOTERS – and we CAN and WILL win!

• Today, turned-off voters are leaving BOTH political parties.   Sure, polling tells us what voters say they want, and don’t want, but mostly, voters don’t think anyone - in either Party – is really listening to them.  

• If we can convince voters that we actually heard them - i.e. give them specifics about how R’s will work to make their lives better - the votes will be there for us…

Here’s the contrast between the two major Parties:

• R’s want a fair and square election process. The D’s will do anything (and everything) to win!

  • To grab voters’ attention, R’s need to think outside the box – and be interesting and entertaining!

• R’s want people to think.  D’s want people to feel.  Emotion beats facts and logic every time!

  • Example:  R’s pit an explanation of tax policy against D’s saying, “…If it saves just one child”…

  • R’s need to convince voters we feel their pain - about high inflation, crime, border issues, etc.

• R’s get mad - and complain to each other. D’s tell their Party members how to feel, think, talk - and vote.

  • D’s push divisive, negative, doom-ridden themes; mock, shame or “cancel” anyone who disagrees (especially D’s who don’t go along with the “Party line”); mischaracterize the truth (i.e. lie); twist facts; and blame R’s for everything!

  • R’s need to expose D’s lies to voters + ridicule the D’s (Example:  D’s tell you that the Border is closed. Is that what YOU see? Why would you believe them about anything? Vote R!)

  • R’s need to convince ALL R’s to VOTE, VOTE EARLY, and VOTE A STRAIGHT R TICKET!  (R’s need to stop skipping boxes on ballots just because an R candidate didn’t pass their Litmus test!!!!)

• D’s are not fun. D’s have money. Fun = optimism and hope! If R’s are fun, R’s will get money!  

  • P.S. if the R Party gets $5.00 from each registered R in Colorado, we can raise $4,658,525!

Want to know the BIGGEST reason why R’s have a great chance to win? It’s in the numbers!

• As of 10/23, registered CO D’s = 1,051,938; registered CO R’s = 929,203; Unaffiliated (UAF) voters = 1,855,584. R’s only need 122,736 to register more than the D’s!  Sounds overwhelming? Consider this: Many UAF’s are R’s “in disguise”. If we go after the UAFs married to R’s, that’s a good chunk; and then, if we go after ALL UAF’s - and register even 1/4 of them - we beat the D registration by 341,161!

REMEMBER:  The ONLY thing that matters is to STOP what the D’s are doing to Colorado -  AND TO US!

• IF we prove to voters that we work for them, and we get out the R vote, and R’s vote for EVERY R on the ballot (like the D’s do on theirs!) WE CAN - and WILL - WIN!!!   

As the Ads say, “Think Different”; “Challenge Everything”; “What’s the Worst that Could Happen”; “Every Little Helps”; “Because You’re worth it”; “Impossible is Nothing”; “Can You Hear Me Now?” “Just do it!”!
