Three simple words which embolden the members of Cherry Creek Republican Women to serve our constituents with honor and integrity.
To engage others through events focused on fellowship and political philanthropy; to enlighten, providing content and resources to form educated decisions regarding the issues and candidates, and to empower; giving our members a passionate voice and platform to be heard in the halls of political discourse and an active role in the electoral process.
These tenants of engage, enlighten and empower speak the truths which are our foundation.
CCRW President’s Letter – May 2024
It is my privilege to serve as Cherry Creek Republican Women (CCRW) President, for 2024-5.
Like many of you (or not) I received a solicitation email from Byron Donalds, Congressman from SW Florida, and the Co-Chair of an important Republican Party initiative.
He talked about the groundwork necessary for Republicans to win one of the most important elections – if not the most crucial - of our time.
This is what Byron says the RNC is doing:
→ If the Democrat Legal Machine tries any shenanigans, we’ll be there to stop them
→ If Liberals can ballot harvest, we should ballot harvest even better
→ If they’re sending poll watchers, we should send an army of our own
→ We’re not pandering to minority voters, we’re building relationships with them
→ We’re expanding GOTV efforts to get young Conservatives to the ballot box
→ We’re fighting bad election laws to make it easier to vote but harder to cheat
As Rep. D says, “As Conservatives, we have the issues on our side. We are the only commonsense Party. If we get these campaign operations right, the Democrats are in serious trouble come election day.” (I think he means that Republicans can win!)
In support of the above, let’s – each of us – commit to the following – the sooner the better:
· Let’s support our candidates – volunteer, donate, walk, phone, email – and show up!
· Let’s talk our discouraged friends – of both parties – into voting Republican! (Just show them the 2024 Colorado Legislative report, under Articles of Interest, on this website! If THAT doesn’t motivate them, nothing will – BUT DON’T GIVE UP!)
· Let’s also buy into what Rep. Donalds says we need to do:
o Ballot harvest (you can collect up to 10 mail-in ballots and drop them in a ballot box).
o Sign up to be an election judge or poll watcher.
o Build new relationships and talk your new friends into voting (especially young folks!)
o Join any effort to assure election integrity.
